LUCHO RANE:
Little Italy’s interest for music started very early. At the age of thirteen he got his first set of turn tables. Italy experimented with his father’s records and spent countless hours teaching himself. One year later he started doing sets at house parties and school dances. Not too long after little Italy started making mixtapes for friends in school and in the neighborhood. Little Italy is best known for his remixes and clean way of mixing music. His baggiest influences are Tony Touch, DJ Scratch, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Grand Master Flash.Next Italy teamed up with rapper Pancho Via where together they put out numerous mixtapes. "Power of the hand" (1998) "World Wide" (2006) "21 and over" and "Aliens have landed" both in 2007, just to name a few.In 2008, Italy started making beats. With long hours came team work and determination. Italy and Pancho put out "Every day all day high" (2008) and "Fly Boy" (2009) Italy has broadened his wide vocabulary of music talent from mixtapes, recording and producing beats to video production and web and graphic design.
PANCHO VIA:
There's no denying that Toronto is the next Major city to be placed on the "Hip Hop map of the world" and with that being said, there are many aspiring artists who want to be a part of the movement but few are able to consistently push out product. In high school, Pancho Via who was then known as Prez 3 began writing his first lyrics and in collaboration with Little Italy produced numerous mixtapes in which he showcased his skills through various freestyles and dubs. He soon got the attention of his peers and the wheels were in motion. In 2003 he released his first single titled "Have A Ball" which he threw a release party for that was a true highlight in the early part of his career due to the tremendous turn out and support. The following year he teamed up with Parkland Records and independant record label based out of Regent park, Toronto. Together they released "On The Clock" in 2005 which is a must have for any Pancho Via fan. The mixtape had people buzzin through heavy promotion and gorilla marketing. Pancho then went on to release "On The Clock Pt2- Still Movin" along with Little Italy's "The Aliens Have Landed" under his newly formed Alien Nation Music Group. Both projects have done very well and continue to do so. Along with the love Pancho has received for his work also comes the hate from none other than "The Haters" so in 2008 he released "The Most Hated", his 3rd full length mixtape again released along side a Little Italy tape called "21 And Over" under Alien Nation Music Group. Some tend to ask Pancho "When is the album coming?" Pancho says "Im still working on it. Its gonna be a classic so...it takes time. For right now though, get all my mixtapes!" OVER THE YEARS DENIRO HAS PERFECTED HIS SKILLS THROUGH MIXTAPES, PERFORMANCES, AND CLUB SHOWINGS TO BECOME ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED ENTERTAINERS.
